Nollywood Veteran and comic-star, John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu has finally opened up about his daughter’s decision to marry a man she met on TikTok.
Mr. Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine, recently uploaded a love-filled video with her abroad-based fiance, admitting that they met on the video-sharing app TikTok.
She also indicated that they’ll be marrying soon, noting that a good man won’t waste a woman’s time.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, the veteran actor reacted to this by saying:
“She is not my biological daughter but I trained her. She calls me daddy and I call her daughter. I am okay with it (her getting married). I have been praying for them and I will keep on doing that.
“Man and woman got to know each other one day. It is a gradual process. However, I don’t want to see tears.
