The Oba Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Saheed Ademola has taken to his Instagram page to celebrate his 11th year on the throne.
Oba Elegushi is a descendant of Kusenla Ruling House of Ikateland in Lagos State. He succeeded his father, late Oba Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi, the 20th Oba Elegushi of Ikateland, who reigned from 1991 to 2009. The monarch who recently celebrated his birthday took to his Instagram page to mark the milestone and expressed appreciation to God for the opportunity to contribute to the kingdom and serve humanity.
The monarch wrote;
this great kingdom and humanity but I am not unmimdful that this is still a work in progress. The people living or doing business here will continue to identify with us and our tireless work of building a peaceful and prosperous city for all of us. It is 11years today we started and Insha Allah, we will be here for much longer. To God indeed be all the Glory.”
