#EndSars: Naira Marley Cancels Protest, Gives Operatives Ultimatum To Stop Brutality

Controversial singer, Naira Marley has announced the cancellation of a planned protest against the brutal activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Loadedmore reports that top personalities and other citizens in the country have over time called for an end to the anti-robbery squad, as a result of the incessant killing of youths.

Over the weekend, celebrities, in a renewed online protest, took to their social media pages to call for an end to the squad with several hashtags such as #EndSars, #EndSarspermanentlyNow, etc.

Naira Marley who earlier expressed fears about going to prison if he partakes in the protest, in some tweets revealed that “they” would be embarking on a peaceful one on Tuesday, October 6.

However, the “Tesumole” crooner on Tuesday morning said the protest will no longer hold, but, as “Marlians” the SARS will be given a week ultimatum to review their activities and if there are no changes, a mass protest will hold.
