In a newly published excerpt from her memoir, Choices: To the Hills and Back Again, the 37-year-old reality star looked back at an interaction she had with Justin Timberlake at the annual awards show.

“We were invited to so many awards shows, and even asked to present a few times,” she said, per Yahoo! Entertainment. She explained that she and her The Hills co-stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were asked to give Justin the award.

She added that Lauren and Whitney were “were beyond excited when Justin Timberlake won,” noting that “they were superfans.” On the other hand, Audrina said that Justin‘s music wasn’t her cup of tea, writing: “I couldn’t have cared less, but I was excited for them.”

Once they were all on stage, she recalled that the Grammy Award-winning singer “wouldn’t even come up to us and accept the award in front of a packed house.” She said that Lauren and Whitney were “devastated” and she was “annoyed at his rude, diva behavior.”

During his acceptance speech, Justin implored MTV to “play more damn videos,” telling the network, We don’t want to see the Simpsons on reality television, play more videos.”

Audrina perceived his comments as a “personal attack” against reality TV, recalling that “Lauren‘s jaw dropped. We were humiliated.”

Elsewhere in her new memoir, Audrina opened up about her relationship with this famous actor.
