Angel Smith, who came in third place in the sixth season of Big Brother Naija, recently spoke about her brief stay at the University of Lagos.

The reality TV star said that she only stayed at the facility for two weeks and that the reason she left was because she was sexually assaulted while there.
In an interview with media personality Taymesan, which was published online on Friday, she revealed this knowledge.

“I was only there for a total of two weeks at UNILAG. “I battled so much for those two weeks because when I arrived at UNILAG was my first experience with sexual assault,” she added. “It was my first time.”

The author, who is only 22 years old, continued by saying, “After that experience, I can recall just passing through it and pretending like it never took place.”

“It had a significant impact on my life at school. I always made the excuse that I didn’t know what to do in UNILAG, but the truth is that I’ve always been very aware of what it is that I wanted to do.
Angel, who spent her childhood with her grandmother, recalled that at this time, her grandmother’s career goals shifted from wanting to become a gynecologist to excelling in English to the point where she won multiple spelling bees and improved her writing skills.

Angel said, “I knew what I wanted to do, but I didn’t just do that because I had experienced something so traumatic, and I didn’t speak to anybody about it, especially not my granny, because I had so much shame.” “I knew what I wanted to do, but I didn’t just do that because I had experienced something so traumatic, and I didn’t just do that because I had experienced something.
